Las Anod, April 10, 2004 (SL Times) A circular was issued by Col. Abdillahi Yusuf through Col. Abdirizaq Mahamud Yusuf (Afgadud) which claims that Mr. Ibrahim Jama Daad was sacked. Mr. Ibrahim Jama Daad rejected the circular saying that he is a native of Sool region (Las Anod is in Sool) and Afgadud is alien to the area, and since the town cannot accommodate both of them then Mr. Afgadud should get out of town. As a result, each side has mobilized his own militia, which are on the verge of armed conflict in Las Anood.
