Somaliland Woman Gives Birth To Triplets |

| A Somaliland
woman called Fadumo Awad Axmed gave birth to 3 children on the night of
July 6, 2002, in southwest of Hargeisa. The 3 children, two girls and a
boy and their mother are living in destitute conditions. The triplets were
born to a very poor family. The father is unemployed and the mother is already
suffering from blood anemia. According to a health official, the 3 newly born are also malnourished. Fadumo had previously given birth to 7 children, of whom only four are still alive. |
