As one of the hundreds of people who attended SOPRI’s second Somaliland Convention held at the Doubletree, Hotel Crystal City, Virginia, USA, and in my capacity as the Chair of the Somaliland Society UK, I will like to congratulate SOPRI for the excellent manner that the conference was conducted.

I have certainly felt so proud in the midst of the hundreds of Somalilanders, friends and supporters of Somaliland who have come together for one purpose only: to discuss and debate key issues pertaining to the future, the interest and the development of Somaliland.

We are very impressed in the professional and efficient way that SOPRI have organized this event and brought the community together.

Thank you for hosting this outstanding convention and thanks to the many friends and supporters of Somaliland who tirelessly campaign for the recognition of our beloved country.
