Mogadishu, August 29, 2007 – The tradition and unity elders of hawiye clans said that in this ultimate conference, there is nothing significant, which has emerged out of it.

The chairman of the conference said a speech, which is contradicting to that of the elders.

The elders said that the goal of the conference was only to mislead the civilian and not to reach peace process to unite the Somali people.

The adviser of the hawiye tradition and unity chairman Mr. Salad Barwaqo said that a conference should be held out of the country or a safer place in order the Somalis to reconcile.

Mr. Barwaqo said the Somalis fought of politics and these issues of politics can be overcome with by pulling together the disagreeing groups.
