By Hana Mohamed Muse It is amazing that donors talk of good governance and normally deny aid to some of the poorest countries in the world on the pretext of bad governance while they nurture when and where they see their interest. Good example is Egypt where there is a gross violation of human right and all characteristics of bad governance. I want to confine my self to Somaliland Red crest Society. This is one of the munificently funded organizations in Somaliland. Somaland Red Crescent projects comes from ICRC, European Union, German Red cross, Norwegian Red cross and others. Abdirahman Hassan Rakuub of Hargeisa died two years ago and a cousin of Abdirahman who is a medical doctor was groomed after he was called from abroad. Recently Haji Nur of Borama had passed away last month ( May good bless him) and immediately his son was called from North America to replace him. I belief there is an article in SRC bye- laws which allows these replacement to take place otherwise such things cannot be done on a broad day light and repeated twice and thrice. So it will not be strange to wake up one morning and find Amina-Weris - Silaanyo's wife -as the head of Somaliland Crescent Society. Hana Mohamed Muse
