Dallas, Texas 26 April 2008 - Resources, Republic of Somaliland Met Some of the Somaliland Community In Dallas, Texas. The Honorable minister of Water and Mineral resources, Qassim Sh. Yussuf who was an official visit of seven days in San Antonio, Texas where he attended international convention of Petroleum companies held in San Antonio, made a brief stop at city of Dallas yesterday.

At a luncheon organized by Safia Abdulahi of Awdal Charity Services, Inc, and Kayse Noor Ahmad, the minister briefed for his community the overall situation of the country at this time. He encouraged his community members who attended at this brief luncheon to invest back home and do what ever they can do. The minister answering a question posed by one of the community member says that the objectives of his visit was to attract foreign investors and secure some deals to further oil explorations, and other untapped mineral resources which are abundant in Somaliland, and everything went well. Finally, Minister Qassim and his entourage thanked the somaliland community the warm reception they extended to them, and few hours later, his flight departed from Dallas and Forth worth international airport to London.
